Certified Falls Prevention Specialists
Our practitioners attained their certification as falls prevention specialists, bolstering their knowledge in improving client and caregiver safety. Through their training and years of experience, our practitioners have developed skilled trainings aimed at promoting function, safety, and independence. Our goal through this training is to reduce hospitalization, encourage safe aging in place, and reduce caregiver burnout.
Caregiver and Client Training
Our Certified Falls Prevention Specialists will perform thorough assessment of our clients environments, individual abilities, and caregiver needs. From there, a comprehensive falls prevention program will be established and implemented through training of both the client and caregiver(s). Teach back principles will be utilized to instill confidence and empower our caregivers and clients alike, promoting success in the prevention of falls.
Agency Training
Coming Soon! We are developing a program aimed at supporting our community through individualized training developed for caregiving agencies. Our goal is to help train and embolden caregivers across the state to feel more confident in their ability to keep their clients safe. Caregiving Agencies will have the opportunity to partner with our expert practitioners to train their staff in order to ensure they provide the utmost care to the clients they serve.
