Private Occupational Therapy
Why Private Occupational Therapy?
Individualized Care
In the traditional medical model, care is dictated by the confines of health insurance, limiting the true nature of individualized care. Private OT allows practitioners to truly identify client needs, take time to develop sessions to meet each identified need alongside the client and their loved ones.
Goal-Oriented
Our practitioners will be able to develop goals based on personal needs established during our thorough initial consultation. These goals will guide our practitioners to develop therapeutic activities aimed at reducing re-hospitalization, aging in place, reducing caregiver burden, and above all else sustained independence.
Promote Safety and Independence
Therapy sessions will focus on function and independence. We will work within our client’s environment (home and community), engage in functional training based on identified needs, make environmental recommendations as needed, promote caregiver training and empowerment, and aim for successful and permanent discharge.
